(7-17-2008) YADKINVILLE, NC– Todd Tutterow’s new Jeffers Pro Cars Corvette was back in action at Motor Mile Dragway after L&H Race Cars out of Oxford, NC got the minor body damage fixed and painted in just 5 days after Tutterow’s incident at Big Dog.
Tutterow arrived at Motor Mile Dragway at 5:00am Saturday morning, caught a few z’s and was back up to get the Corvette ready for 1st round action by 2:00pm. The Corvette was on a string as Tutterow Qualified #2 by .0001 of a second. The Vette proved to be a winner being the fastest car every round. But in the finals Tutterow had a .002 red light giving the win light to Chad Tilly.
Tutterow said that he would like to Thank L & H Race Cars for all of their hard work helping him get back to the track so quickly. When Tutterow was asked what he thought about his new Jeffers Pro Cars Vette he replied, “It’s going to be a Winner and was this weekend but the driver let it down.” Think we’ll name this car “Rule Changer” maybe not so “Mello Yellow.”
