IT IS A GO !!!! We are finishing the final details. The race is on Saturday Oct 11 2008 at ET Raceway in Greene County, IN. 1/8 mile.

The prize funds are as follows:
Guaranteed!!!
1st round winners = $100.00
2nd round winners = $200.00
3rd round winners = $300.00
Semi-final losers = $400.00
Final round
Runner-Up = $1000.00
Winner = $3000.00 + Trophy

Prize funds may Increase ! Thats right, Increase! as sponsors come forward.

On race day you couldn't ask for any better weather. sunny and in the 80's. The track was preped good and the cars where flying down the 1/8the mile.

#1 Qualifier Tim Kirman - 4.41

The field ranged from 5.07 - 4.41

In the finals was Eric Carlson with his 1962 Chevy Belair
VS
Mike Kokenes with his 1964 Dodge Polara

Both drivers agreed on splitting the purse and recieved $2600.00 each, but still had to run for the trophy. Eric Carlson won the event and took home the trophy. Great job to everyone involved and thanks to all our sponsors.
