Belated congratulations to Bob Bunker Jr. and all of Bunker Racing for running a career-best 6.290 at Sacramento. Way to go Junior! :cool:

Holy cow! It just hit me; that 230.40 mph speed means that y'all now have the world's fastest '55! :eek::eek::eek:

Okay, it's time to settle this. Someone needs to put up some bucks and get Bob Bunker Jr. and Charles Carpenter together for a match race at a neutral track (Houston Raceway Park comes to mind) to see who gets to claim the coveted title of World's Fastest '55. :cool:

Thanks Nick, were really happy with the new Miner Brothers engine with the PSI blower combo. At the Street Car Super Nationals in Vegaas were hoping to run as good if not better! :D

Well Eddie, we have two Carpenters and two Bunkers as members here. They could probably tell us what it would take to get them to tow out somewhere. One team's in Charlotte, NC and the other's in Folsom, CA.

Depends where the race would be located. Also, 1/4 or 1/8th? Im sure we could arrange for it, just gotta run it by pops.

Id say HELL YES... Lets get it on... But thats me. It would be a great race i think. Blower vs. Nitrous, 55 vs. 55, Bunker vs. Carpenter Round #-who knows...

Yeah id have to agree. Get both teams to agree, find a track willing to pay a purse and tow money and lets go!
