I just got word that LiL Fernando is going with the new Baby Fly! Game On!

This is going to be a good one! There's now three jackpot classes, Pro Mods, tube chassis big tire, and backhalf. Gaylen Smith has added $500.00 to the backhalf jackpot. Plus there's straight grudge matches too.

This is one Hotel close by that is NOT booked up yet and has reasonable rates. Got to the website and check out the pics. Also I called and they let you check in anytime don't have to wait until later in the day.

Got a call from my brother. He made the trip to houston and said a good turn out from dfw. Just a couple of promods, Jack D. made a good pass in his. Lot of the TBHO cars are there. Go DFW.

got another call from donnie, said billy in the purple hase carhit the wall top in and went up in flames. Was told the billy was out of the car as soon as it stop. No info on billy. Hope your ok billy, No EMS or Fire at the track. Took along time to put out the fire. Why would somebody put on a race without EMS and fire at the track before it starts.

You are soooo very right Butch. I saw an ambulance at the end of the track but no fire personel. Unbelievable. Billy declined to go to the hospital. Hope the best for you Billy, you are going to feel this one for next few days.

HMP always has an ambulance with EMT's for every race. HMP also has its own fire truck with a trained firefighter for every race. Watching the video, you can see the car was on fire for about 20 seconds after it stopped before the fire was under control.

flip chopped the tree down on suppose to be houston bad boy bin laden. then he ran another turquoise malibu, but flip went red. it would have been close. congrats to flip and his crew. gaylen had an unlucky break on a match race with a car from la. gaylen chopped the tree down and was way out on the other car, but about 60 or 80 feet out something let go.

All I can say is Glad to hear Billy is OK.

I'm pretty sure that only one class was contested. There were not enough entries for the others. Eighteen-year-old Alex Show from Mississippi won all the money in the Backhalf class.
