What do you mean Plastic fasteners? I'm confused! do you mean the frame or the 10-32 screws that hold the panel to the manifold, or the burst panel itself.

The Panel On The Body. It's A Funnycar, And The Fasteners That Hold It In Each Corner. The Prior Owner Had Plastic Screws And Wing Nuts Holding It In And I Just Need To Resecure It To The Body. There Are Not Too Many Guys With Funnycars Around My Area So I Will Leave It Up To You Guru's To Help Me.....:d OH AND IT'S A 6-71 BDS BLOWER MOTOR.

Ahhhh hahhhhhh, Now your talkin.
Hardware store. Their nothing special!! you want a fairly weak plastic screw in their just incase you do blow your burst panel it'll break easier and not tear up the car to bad, it doesn't have to be secured like a head bolt, because the downforce of the wind pushes the panel down as your going down the track.
what's wrong with the way the previous guy had it? sounds right to me the way he had it.
