I need some input from you guys. I have a customer that is putting together an outlaw P/M car and realy wants to go big inch but also wants to have a blower combo. My question is is it even worth it? I know the cost of the big motor is giong to be more than a conventional bae/aj motor. Do you guys think the big blower deal would make comparable power to one of the hemi motors? I am haveing trouble justifying the inches, a small moror is more efficent and parts are more avalible and I just don't see the big motor makeing any more power. Also what orginizations would that type of combo be leagal in? any input would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Branndon.

In my humble opinion, it would be hard to make this work. I have a 556 inch blown motor and I am having trouble making boost. a 714 inch motor has a huge hole to fil. I have heard some people say take a BIG motor and turn the blower slow...doesn't work. That would be the same as taking that big motor and putting a "little nitrous" on it.....doesn't work. Another problem could be compression, it's hard to take a motor that is 700 inches and keep the compression down and you have to be careful with compression on a blown motor.
Just my 2 cents and if you have any specific questions, I'll be glad to help.

I hate to advise anyone to do just do the same ol' thing but it seems like he'd get more bang for the bucks out of a 526 BAE with a big blower. Parts have got to be a big consideration. And tuning too. How long does he want to invest in getting that beast to run?

yup.....big cubes = nitrous.......smaller cubes = blower. From what I have seen a 540ci is about as big as you want to go with little tuning problems. Sure there are was to get a big cube to turn but they are right with boost issues.
