New Race New Game!

OK everyone we are going to try something a little new at Texas Raceway on June 5th!

We are going to SEPERATE 5 second cars from the 4 second cars! We are going to try this and see how it works out for everyone. 5.00 cap and 4.65 cap.

There will be NO restrictions on either side. You run what you brung, you just cant break out. No restrictions on Motor, Tires or Nitrous. How's that for a start?!

You will be asked if you are 5 or 4 sec. that will be the class you are in. It will be on your tech card too so there is no mistakes. If you break out, you are out. We will not lift the caps or change them in any way. It stands.

Payout to be as follows:

Winner $1000
R/U $400
Semi $125
Semi $125
5-8 $75
-----------
$1950

This is for both sides. If less show up in one side than the other the money will roll up. As in only 4 - 4 sec. cars then the 5-8 will roll up and pay more. Winner is capped at $1000. There will be no combining 4 sec with 5 sec cars. There will still be a $50 tech card, that will not change.

I do also, Gaylen is going to talk to the other tracks and see what they say. The payout went up on them. So, I am hoping for a good turnout on both sides. The tracks take notice to that. I am sooo excited about it I can't even sleep!

chuck clague..the 5.0 class will be a hit i think,if all 3 tracks go to this it will be the only races i go to.

It's to everyone's best interest that we have enuff cars on both sides to be able to run this race and keep them seperated. If you know someone who wants to run the 4 sec class get in touch with them and let them know about it. If not enuff cars ............ the track will not go for it.

neither car out of this camp is scared. being the chevy II belonging to greg or the the 55(mr. lucky). for one he should be the fastest car with the money he has tied up in it. a twin turbo set-up tuned by petty and lynch. are you serious? he will eventually meet his match. someone will get tired of all of it and build something just to outrun him. for now all the other guys out here racing to have a good time with their low budget hot rods, will just enjoy another good night of drag racing tomorrow at kennedale.
