A number of minor problems ate away at the clock at Dallas Raceway tonight. Each class had two time trials or qualifying passes. Due to the late hour, race officials decided to postpone the start of day 1 eliminations until 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Hot Rod will lead off the standard IHRA Summit Racing Equipment ProAm run order.

Was good to see you down south racing with D4 Tom.Thinking back over all the races I've started, I think this one was a record for me, right at 20 hrs of Standing on the starting line in one day.

That's funny you say that Tommy. When we were sitting around after Alan's incident in the second round Saturday night (really Sunday morning) I saw you out there and thought to myself, Tommy's dogs have got to be barking loudly by now!!!

LOL-the dogs were barking for sure.Finally got em calmed down since I got home .Yesterday it was icepacks and today I've been sitting in my infra-red sauna .Say one thing, Alan had his hands full on his deal.I thought for a second he was heading to the center wall and shaking the leaves off the tree.

Was glad Tommy D made it down from Kansas, Tom and his wife Bambi were welcomed with our Texas heat...and a couple of stingy first round opponants...but I am sure they will be back for revenge1:cool:

It was a hell of a night...had fever, chills, sweating while I was freezing with goose bumps...but whos complaining, we WON...gotta love this chit!:D

Longdrive (Tommy) you were a trooper as usual, and a safe feeling always comes over me seeing you at the line from the water box! Your efforts never go without notice to many racers. After 20 hrs on your feet, you were still as sharp as a tack! I am sure your feet felt like you were standing on those tacks...LOL
