(12-2-2009) ODESSA, TX – After posting a final-round finish in his first National Guard American Drag Racing League (ADRL) appearance in October at Ennis, Texas, Scott Hintz and his Hintz Motorsport team are excited to announce they will run the full Extreme Pro Stock schedule with the National Guard ADRL next year.
“We were only able to attend the final National Guard ADRL race of the season in 2009, but we were very impressed with the ADRL organization and really enjoyed ourselves,” the Odessa, Texas-based driver said. “Our team is comprised of three generations of family members and close friends and we feel the ADRL family atmosphere is a perfect fit for us.”
Driving a Jerry Haas-built 2009 Mustang with horsepower provided by Jon Kaase Racing Engines, Hintz qualified fourth and finished runner-up to Cary Goforth in the LenMar Motorsports ADRL World Finals V at the Texas Motorplex, just south of Dallas.
“We would like to thank our associate sponsors, Taurus Manufacturing and Synergyn Oil, for their support and say a special thanks to the ADRL staff and all the ADRL fans that welcomed us in Dallas,” Hintz said. “We’re looking forward to an exciting 2010 season.”
