(4-17-2008) WILLOWBANK, QLD – The 2008 Castrol EDGE Tin Top Titles to be held at Willowbank Raceway this weekend will be a first time ever in Australia. A 16 car Top Doorslammer Field will be hitting the track.
Both Victor & Ben Bray will field their Castrol EDGE Top Doorslammers as well as Ben's Datsun 1200 sports compact ute., Both are excited about racing in the first ever 16 car Top Doorslammer field this weekend.
"There has been a lot of hard work from a lot of people since 1995, when the Top Doorslammer bracket started getting it to this point. Now that it's here, I think everyone is anxious to watch their cars go down the track and make this a success."
"For me, as a driver, and team owner it gives me great pleasure, seeing doorslammers take this next step, this week end because it is happening at my home track and also it was the Tin Top Titles in 1983 held at Surfers Paradise raceway that I got my first taste of success."
"Camp Stanley will be here as a founding member of Australia's Top Doorslammer category, Stanley like me has seen its evolution and I think it is great that he will be here to see it takes it's next step at the Queensland quarter mile."

Top Doorslammer is sweet 16 and Team Bray is happy to be a part of it.
Three Qualifying sessions are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Friday, April 18 and Final eliminations begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, April. 19.
