Some guys are going to be making test hits in a little bit. I'll have some numbers later.

Some of the guys just finished making test hits. The track temp was at 120 and only two guys made it down the track, Chris Croom (4.43) and Ernie Everett (4.73). First round qualifying is at 2:00 but if some of the guys try to make another test hit, I'll post the results. Stay tune, it's going to get good when it starts to cool down!!

R.B. Smith broke when he made a test run earlier and couldn't make the call for qualifying. Second round and cool weather are coming soon!!

2nd round qualifying just finished up. We have a great show on our hands. The field is tight and the air is cooling down. We have one more round of qualifying left and the boys say they are getting after it.

Ernie had a bye run, got about 150 feet downtrack, started drifting toward the centerline and wisely lifted. Jason Rouse will have lane choice in the final.

Nick sorry about not calling you back with the final results. In the end it came down to Jason Rouse and Ernie Everett. Ernie was driving his Corvette since his Camaro is still being sorted out. Rouse redlighted against Everett giving the win away. Great show last night from the POD.
