Yeah, a few weeks ago we heard this was going to be a heads up class with Fords, Dodges, Camaros, plus Corvettes, Maseratis, Mclarens, etc. Somebody must have missed the memo.

Maybe so. Looks like the Dodge boys have stayed home for two races. Looking for more HP?

No Camaros or 'Vettes yet.

Give it time though. Something like the ADRL deal needs a bit of time.

The NHRA deal should be stronger. They've already got these guys coming to Indy anyway.

It's just a one-shot deal. For now.

I've read on Classracer that the Camaros are running at NHRA Stock/SStock classes. The counts are terrible but my brother told me there were alot of fans there so that is a good sign.

NHRA Factory Stock Showdown index adjusted to 9.90

(7-12-2012) GLENDORA, CA – NHRA Officials announced today that the index for the new NHRA Factory Stock Showdown has been adjusted to 9.90. The program was announced last month with the inaugural NHRA Factory Stock Showdown to be held on Friday of the 2012 Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Auto Plus at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis.

The competition will showcase the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, Dodge Mopar Challenger Drag Pak and Chevrolet COPO Camaro and will feature 2008 and newer models.
