WCOPMA Mission Raceway results

We're racing in Canada this weekend at Mission Raceway Park! Testing until 5pm today, 3 qualifying rounds Saturday, eliminations Sunday.

Leading testing today is Mike Maggio. Made 2 hits, on the second pass goes 6.03 @ 258.76! Jay Syverston made 1 hit in his new 57 Chevy, first full pass was a soft 6.55 @ 215. More cars headed to the lanes now...will post more info in a little.

Trevor Lowe, Rod Burbage and Mike Maggio all made test hits. Lowe knocked the tires off at the hit in the first ever pass in the brand new 70.5 Camaro. Burbage was the first pro mod driver to try the right lane and made it to about 300 feet before he knocked the tires off and Maggio runs the first "5" of the weekend going 5.94 @ 259!

Trevor Lowe had a pretty bad wreck on the top end here a few hours ago. The track was working hard to replace a section of guard rail, fix the timing system and clean up oil. After about 2 hours we finished the rest of the second qualifying session.

Trevor was checked out and is fine and still at the track hanging out, he got out of the car and walked to the ambulance on his own power. That is great news considering how hard the wreck looked.

When the rest of the second session was complete this is how it stacked up. We're headed up for the 3rd and final session right now...
