Harold Martin to compete at NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals
(8-31-2012) INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Harold Martin and his Pro Modified racing team are excited to be competing at the upcoming 58th annual NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals, at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis Aug 31- Sep 3. Martin has fond memories of his last visit to Indy, where he received the honor of being the #1 qualifier.
Known as the “EFI Wizard” by the automotive industry, fans and racers, Martin will bring his professional experience and engineering skills to battle the tough field of Pro Mod competitors at drag racing’s most prestigious event. The Martin Team will debut an 855 cubic-inch; electronic fuel injected (EFI) and nitrous equipped engine, developed and built in-house.
Martin’s team has been busy in recent years supporting the automotive industry and motorsports customers, and has been looking forward to racing again. “This is a great opportunity for our race team to see how we stack up with the best of the best. I am confident we can get there it will just be a matter of working it out. Making our season debut at Indy is a challenge we have fully embraced,” stated an energized Martin. “We are also looking forward to reconnecting with the fans, many of who have expressed their eagerness for our return.”
