All-out Outlaw weekend at Capitol Raceway Sept. 14-15; Big money on the line
(9-11-2012) CROFTON, MD – Fans have another chance to catch the all-out Outlaw weekend at Capitol Raceway. The event originally scheduled for July 20-21 was postponed due to weather and will be contested this weekend, September 14-15. The Outlaw Pro Street 10.5 Shootout features an unbelievable $10,500 to win, plus over 40 Outlaw Pontiacs! The action will be nonstop all weekend as the baddest Outlaw machines on the east coast battle it out for the big money.
No one who qualifies for the Pro Street Shootout goes home empty handed. Those who make the 16 car field receive their $125 entry fee back. First round winners take home $200; quarter-finalists $400; semi-finalists $800 and runner up a very respectable $2000. Crew and spectator tickets are just $20/day or $30/weekend.
Gates open at noon on Friday for racers, 4:30pm for spectators. Everyone gets one shakedown pass then qualifying begins at 7:30. Saturday gates open for everyone at 11am. Pro Street competitors get two more qualifying passes (2 & 4pm) and the race starts at 6pm. For rules visit
