Danny Perry wins EOPM championship
(10-16-2012) BENSON, NC – Danny Perry and The Boone Racing Team win the 2012 Extreme Outlaw Pro Mod Championship. Danny (The New Sheriff) Perry won 3 races this year in the EOPM Series. He went to 2 finals, qualified for every race, one where they had engine problems.
“The 2011 Jerry Bickel Boone Racing Camaro was the most consistent Pro Mod race car all season long. This team has worked extremely hard all year long on its racing program,” said EOPM Competion Director Rick Moore. “This is one of the best professional race teams I've ever been around,” said Rick.
“I'm so very proud of our team, they have given their heart and soul to win the EOPM Championship. This year has been one of our best years in racing; we have the best driver in Danny Perry, the best chassis man in (Tricky) Rickie Smith, and the best engine builder in Sonny Leonard. We will proud to represent and defend our championship in 2013 racing season. Thanks to Jerry Bickel race cars, Sonny’s Racing Engines, (Tricky) Rickie Smith, my crew chief and son Brad Boone, my wife and family, friends and all my race fans,” said Jimmy Boone (Team Owner).
