thats why i have the foam type fire system, it will snuff the fire out and the wind will not blow it off like halon if the front end gets torn off, it sticks for a minute then dissolves after a little while.
after seeing that fire at HMP, to hell with the shut down, I WILL NOT RACE THERE if they do not get the right fire support. if that was a fire in the drivers compartment and the driver trapped or knock out that would be horrible.
how bad did that destroy the engine or chassis from heat that long?
ther is NO excuse for a fire support team like that, the track is a excellant race facility so why a fire support like that?
sorry to rant, I just dont like fire, or se someones ride destroyed from ignorance.
